China Coma of 22
 

China Coma of 22 is a montage video documentary about my years living in china before er's death, building up from short clips of happy moments traveling and busking with the 4 of us on the road over notable cities Beijing, Nanjing, Qingdao and Guangzhou the piece shows the counting to 10 in Chinese hand signs before revealing er for the first time singing on the street in the last days of his time in Guangzhou city which was to be the last city we where together. Please enjoy this documentary video which gives real life context to the bulk of my autobiographical work. The piece was made in response to a collaboration project 'In motion' which was projected in Kirtgate market for ARTSFEST June-July 2022.
